A Little About Me

My name is Adrianna Brown and I am graduate of the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Business Administration.

Through school and my work experience I have developed excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. My most valuable strengths are creative writing, customer service, teamwork with excellent problem solving skills.  As an intern at the Dalton Agency, I wrote copy for numerous outdoor billboards and flyers for McDonald's.  I also wrote a couple different concepts and scripts for a McDonald's radio spot ad and one of my ideas was approved by McDonald's and put into production. The knowledge and experience I gained at the Dalton Agency is more than I could have imagined. I had an amazing, creative, smart, and clever supervisor who gave me constructive criticism when needed and recognition for my accomplishments.  I couldn't have asked for a better mentor during this huge step in my career.

Through my work experience I have developed a professional, fun and effective way to communicate with customers.  I have handled numerous irate customers over the years and have been able to successfully calm them down so they can communicate to me the issue at hand.  I then repeat what it is they're looking for so we both know we are on the same page. At that point, I would offer them their options and suggest  why or why not each option would work.

My teamwork skills can be demonstrated through my Advertising Campaigns class.  We were a group of 21 college kids who came together with countless ideas, but because we communicated with each other efficiently, we were able to compromise our personal gains for the betterment of the group work.

My ambition is ever growing.  A professor of mine made a quick suggestion in class about a trip to NYC for The Advertising Women of New York Career Conference. Even though no one else from the class could go, I went by myself and wasn't going to let anything hold me back from reaching my goal.

I am so fortunate for my family.  They are my biggest supporters in everything I do and are such a huge part of my success now and in the future.
